India would be better if only Vedas were strictly seen as only divine books.
Abrahamics understood this long ago, they stick to one or two books and did not allow any Ponga chaman to write anything.

the fact is there is no one "hindu" religion, British termed all the pagan cultures prevalent in india collectively as hinduism.
different (indian)s and ethnicities across india have completely different cultures, myths, gods and rituals.
