Ritesh will see municipal water that comes for an hour cut in half for diverting to data centres and gobarment giving subsidies for goygle and micro dick to build gigantic purifiers and unpermitted access to dig massive borewells with already depleting ground water levels to cool ai after generating 4k _?

no one is setting data centers at a location where the max temperatures are above 40 degrees Celcius 8 months of the year, the only viable locations are perhaps Kashmir or Ladakh or Himachal Pradesh or Uttarakhand, everywhere else gets disqualified by weather alone
does no one think of this basic thing? I thought anons are skeezos are supposed to be smart

Why can't we have air cooled data centers? Like have a large fan blowing cool air through the computers. Maybe put airfilters to clean the air beforehand. Saves water.

90% of them are in deccan around it cities and Maharashtra-gujrat, I don't think they even dream/imagine the infra in shore or making use of long Himalayas (chinks dug mountain which is very costly but it likely beats electricity costs for cooling)
I woud like to hear dayush opinion

GPUs and other electronic components do not like humidity saar

what have they invested? not an expert, but I think data storage can be done practically anywhere, doesn't generate that much heat, so cooling costs are feasible
but AI stuff needs GPUs, which generate insane amounts of heat, per degree of ambient temperature increase results in exponential increase in electricity costs to cool

this is a great solution tbh
