Rjputana songs have a long history. Jatt songs are more recent however since jatts were usually just farmers and themselves looked down upon.

Yes but 50s and 60s are recent. Jats/Jaats/jatts just means farmers and they were very aware of it.
In fact when Germans captured Sikh soldiers in first and second world war they would translate it to that exactly.
Rajputana/Rana Rajputana OTOH has many old songs which are essentially kanging songs 1000s of years old.
Whereas modern Jatt songs don't really have any old origin, with very few exceptions like Mirza Sahiban - but again Jats are just farmers and thats what it means in Punjab.
Rajputs legit claim to be royals and actually lived that way (you will still find small kingdoms in Rajasthan which are 1 squarekilometers only).
