I actually agree with you, if you are an English speaking Indian you identify more and have a brotherhood with other English speaking Indians regardless of (indian) or region. I had some (indian)/region sentiments as a kid, but when in college I realised that I have more in common with other English speaking Indians than poorer people from my region.
