Hitler was Austrian and became the greatest German
Stalin was Georgian and became the greatest Russian
Is the greatest Indian going to be from outside India?

Gutenberg didn’t just invent the printing press; he democratized knowledge. Before him, books were handwritten, expensive, and exclusive to the elite or religious orders. He made mass production of books possible, allowing information to spread like wildfire.
Gutenberg invented the tool that enabled every other intellectual revolution. If Einstein had been born 500 years earlier, his genius would've stayed in obscurity. Gutenberg’s press made it possible for Einstein’s work to spread like wildfire and for all other minds throughout history to do the same.
Gutenberg gave us the first real global network for spreading knowledge. Without the press, even Einstein would’ve been just another isolated genius with no way to reach the world. Gutenberg’s press multiplied knowledge in a way that changed the entire course of human history.

Correct and nukes are the single most important element of current world and society. And not just nuke. There wouldn't lasers, gps, universe expansion theory and even solar cells without him. But tbh, these things are things to come later. Fritz haber directly allowed half of world popualtion to exist with his haber-Bosch process. Clearly hes the winner

Nietzsche hated 'Germania', the ideal of a united germany and nationalism in general, he supported a more so EU style federation. He criticises germans a lot in his work and tried to jokingly larp as polish (Niecki/Nietzky) once.

>Greatest german
germany lacked the aristocratic individuals that france(napoleon) and Italy (rome(julius caesar) and cesare borgia) or even greece (alexander).
To me it seems no statesmen, except maybe bismarck, but he was prussian after all!
Goethe seems to be it surely.
something interesting is that a german show put the first chancellor of West germany, Konrad Adenauer as first, so perhaps him.

I'm realising its pretty funny(and fitting!) if nietzsche was the greatest german so it gotta be him or goethe.

Nietzsche didn't hate the idea of German empire but he did hate Prussian state because it was too machine like and indoctrinating. He liked off Napoleonic France and wanted Napoleon to rule over all Europe. No federation thingy.
>Germany lacked Aristocratic individuals
Wtf does this even mean? And what's the point point of all those names. Do you mean a gigachad conqueror commander type? Wdym? Also Bismarch was a German. Is this bait?

I'm meming mostly, though seriously, maybe its my bias, I can't really name any german that is the equal of caesar or napoleon.
>federation
bad choice of words by me, not in a democractic sense, he would appreciate the EU for unision under a 'european' identity, i.e. the pan-europeanism aspect of it. You're right he'd prefer an empire than a bureaucratic nightmare.
>german empire
he did like colonialism because the colonialists acted more of a higher-man in the colonies, not restrained by christian morality.
Bismarck thing is just a joke :P
