In my laptop keyboard, I mistakenly broked a retainer clip of one key. The hinge from which both retainer clips rotate is broken from one side. Any solushan broskis? I'm feeling sad due to my anxiety and dumbness. I don't want to get redeemed by buying whole new keyboard for my laptop. I tried installing retainer clip from another scrap keyboard but these phaggots keyboards have different designs of retainer clips.

depends on keyboard, in many laptops whole keyboard has to be replaced but it could be different in some. google it, according to your laptop.

Yrrr! I called the service centre and they said buy a new keyboard. These companies should provide some backup retainer clips. I'm asking here if any repairwala could fix them with glue or from any other stuff.

check if single key can be changed or not otherwise try some jugaad from computer hardware shops cuz replacing keyboard for a laptop isnt worth it.

Changing single key is the only option but it's zero sum game. I'm thinking to change my keyboard after one year. From doing this I'll have whole new keyboard and one scrap keyboard. Anyways buying a new Dell wireless mouse and keyboard for not wasting another key.

do, one thing, buy an actual wired keyboard instead if you use laptop at home only, you will eventually get used to it if you place it only same level as laptop.
