It's either us or it. It was capable of evolving, I do not see why can't we. Even a single one of us all figuring out how to single a single one of those is instant declaration of which side will win.
Just because someone learned, how to travel interstellar doesn't mean we, or even an average dog for the matter won't physically outclass it, having lived on higher gravity our whole life, us being resilient to pathogens and temperature fluctuations it has never seen before. We will, wipe them out.
