>increase the EWS share in open category from 15% to 28%
>now we have 22% perma reservation for sc/st, 28% for EWS and 50% in open category
This way SC/ST community which really needs help will always have a ladder to uplift them. OBCs and Generals who really need can avail EWS. Rest in Open category as the god intended.

apparently there was some caste census in Karnataka, thing is I wasn't asked anything by anyone. I questioned a few others in my colony (mostly middle-class UCs) and they said they weren't approached by the people conducting the survey either. Entire neighborhoods and towns were left out
