We need complete reset of our ongoing political landscape and since 2019 it's been downhill when it comes to political discourse and post 2024 it's treading into complete it's over zone...

military stuff costs a lot and the state barely manages with its current revenue even with insane tax rates, people often forget that india is a poor country the gdp is inflated cuz of huge population and that means you need to spend more money on giving services to these lapins

This is how I know you're a Jain/Gujju. Anyway, I think we need to seriously think about cultural integrity and preservation. If you are working in a particular state you should learn that state's language. It will benefit you. The only reason someone would refuse to do so is if they don't see any benefit from it, or because they consider that language to be beneath them. In which case they are exposing their own bias. Every state has a right to preserve its linguistic identity.

If you are interested look up Quebec's Official Language Act, that should be a template for states like Bengal, Gujarat and Maharashtra to preserve their language and culture in face of Hindi/English dominance.
