Obfuscating The Reality

I have been thinking about, why do people tend to virtue signal and beat around the bush by saying they do not have problem with islam rather with some individual muslim. But in reality this is not true, people in general have philosophical difference with islam but one can have a great one to one relationship with any muslim. When people tend to push the blame on muslims rather than the philosophy of islam, you can say even if they try to 'defend' muslims they are painting target on them. One can have a great relationship with muslim person, but they can agree that they have philosophical difference over the religion. It can be applied over hindus too. Most religious dharmic or abrahamic groups have very clear philosophical differences and rather than accepting those people obfuscate these differences and due to these hidden lies being portrayed as not to 'hurt' the sentiments it only further deepens the divide and creates a sense of distrustfulness among the people. If we treat every other person be it muslim or hindu as just another person with their complexities while also accepting the fact that there's clear very visible philosophical differences between these groups we would be better at finding a common ground and the journey towards honest reconciliation can begin.
