As an Indian Muslim, I don't know my own great history, as I am from the science stream and now in the medicine field, so I never really got the time and opportunity to study my own great history in school. I feel so left out when I see Rajputs, Jats, Sikhs, Marathas, etc. kanging/chimping out online when in reality we Muslims had owned these Pajeets for over a millennium. So I take up this 29/30-day Ramadan challenge to learn about my own great history and share interesting pieces of it here because why not?

Islam spread in Malabar much, much earlier than in North India, and it was peaceful through Arab sea trade, not like North India, which faced brootal invasions. Add to that the brootality of partition, so Northies' hate towards Muslims is somewhat reasonable.
