I think the Bureaucracy and think tanks like ORF and VIF are most responsible for this silly foreign policy since political parties don't even discuss international relations with any serious fervor.

I actually agree with this. If the point is to not piss other parties off, we are not doing a very good job. They are forcing our hand, and we need to take some strong actions. Wish we just did needphool and bombed palestinians to death. If nothing they would have let us bomb on the Bangladeshi muslims in future.

I actually agree with this the most. This was a loss of a great ally. The relation was sour for a decade now, it should have been worked on early onwards.

In fact if anything, Indians (who worship Indra and devas) have a very old enmity with Iranians (who are termed "Anindras" by our ancestors and worship asuras)

Israel gets spport from the US kek they don't need Indian support

Yes, Indians still get Visas while Pakistanis currently don't. Access to the US is very important for India because all the technology comes from there. If there is any chance at India becoming wealthy its by producing high tech.

Nepal is mostly a worthless piece of land and everybody knows it, there are no resources, the people have the lowest recorded IQ in history and they themselves don't want to be a part of India (good for India).

BD is supplied due to agreements and contracts, partly also from previous governments
And Maldives is a small price to pay so they don't start hosting the Chinese, unless India is ready to drop a nuke and wipe out the whole island.
Overall BJP and Modis foreign policy has been stellar and anybody who lives or lived outside India understands this.
Indians went from being (ab)used as streetshitting slaves to actually seen as a threat and or viable competitors in many areas.
