Yes of course bjp would play politics - they are as shameless as other parties. They can be criticized but most of the times their own fault is that they were not hardliner enough - which is something i doubt lw would want.

about the bjp though, they are perhaps one of the only parties that see the nation as an extension of themselves, and not separate from themselves, what I mean is, they have a vision which most lack. I feel like people vote against BJP, moreso to punish them than because they believe in other parties. They are like the Indian version of the LDP of japan. I don't think they're gonna lose power for a very very long time.
