I wanted ask, that tantra comes under the small branches of Shakta sampraday. Did anons who follow Tantra sect actually decide to ever get initiated into the sampraday? Just so they have a more well rooted and grounded understanding of the sect.

i am a new fag too, so no guru or any.
but to think of it, tantra IS worshipping of deities which are part of shakta sampraday.
shiva, shakti, they all are one.
i use to think like that before, when i was lurking and choosing a mahadivya to perform for, i initiated with dhumavati maa, 2-3 meditated with her mantra(do not do anything without well research), and i thought that i am not ready to be rid of all material things, as my age is not the big to do so, so will dhumavati maa be upset that i am worshipping matangi maa instead of her. i THINK no, even they are not singular , but they are ONE. they are too kind, which is opposite to how to preach them
maybe we will have to wait till a real sadhak comes, i merely read some interesting stuff and do jap meditation before sleeping, so this convo will be a discussion rather than a AMA
