Picrel is my IQ. Tested from a legitimate Mensa website. My question is basically this, is there any connection between IQ and academic outcome? I am specifically talking about Entrance exams. I flunked JEE 5 years ago. I did not even qualify mains. No matter how hard I tried, i just could not study for it. Always disinterested and bored with short attention span. I gave CAT but only scored 95 percentile which is not enough for General category engineering male. Also what is the IQ of an IITian? General category students who crack JEE are probably super high IQ. Incase you want to take the test, I am putting the link below

highly related. The ability to recall, have high clarity(resolution) of your mental 'objects' is crucial for problem solving(something that jee doesn't require though but does at times like the infamous 2016 jee physics problem).

I get 133~135 on the same test and I take it every few years.

I got a fairly average score. But didn't retake it.
Managed to get into a college because of background in a certain company and Japanese skills.

I'd say maybe 110-120 ? It doesn't matter though. They usually have good work ethic, a comfy environment to study in, and usually don't have problems with focusing on things.
Also, you're probably not as smart as you think you are.

I then backed out of it because I would have no friends. (There was no social media at that time)

4. Scored pretty well till about middle school, then started to fuck up in high school. Could have done better at GMAT but I only gave myself 3 months.
5. I have been above average at drawing since forever. Getting better with practice.
6. Learnt Japanese and Mandarin. Picked up Persian from pop songs.
7. I can actually solve it. But I don't believe that it's a good indicator of IQ. Is it?
8. Switched to a mediocre person career to relax. Got bored.
9. Nobody in my direct family has a career. Extended family? Yes. Some even have a hospital and such.
