Imagine the bravery, or stupidity & bravery, it must take to prepare hard for 16-20 hours everyday like a mad dog knowing full well the odds are literally 1000:1 against you, or worse as a general candidate, and even worse as a majdoori hindi medium candidate, and still approaching it with a positive attitude. UPSC stories are literal inspiration for me and I don't even plan on taking this silly exam in any way. If absolute chapris, with little to no wealth can handle life and the abyss with such optimism, I who happened to work in a field with 1000x opportunities shouldn't complain too much and just get on with the grind. MInd you that sarkari naukri examcelling also doesn't give you any useful, transferable skills during the exam prepping phase either

I think not. Even if you've the most sincere & loyal jeeta who's also good looking, the game is simply rigged against you, even as an english medium candidates there is growing corruption in the selection process and still you find people not losing hope and fighting hard.

The prince is the first political philosophy book I've read and I read it like 5 years ago. Machiavelli is more concerned with bringing the french into an italian dispute and letting them gain a foothold on the peninsula(aggrandizing). What I mean is the book is relevant to his time period.
