I went to Rajasthan last year and this Rapido cab driver named Khurshid Ahmed accepted my ride.
It was raining lightly.
He called and asked if I can pay in cash. I agreed.
The fare was like 130.
He arrived and I got in. Halfway through he asked for payment. I said, "150 kar du?". Being considerate of him coming in the light rain.

Different experience here.
We were to take a train and fuck god we live in the worst trafficked shithole. The guy had to come from some other way wasting his time. Then there was so much traffic and shiet. It was a long drive. Autojeets from station take 400-500 for such distances and cabs probably more. He was very nice all the way. His fare on uber app was like 230-250 something which i thought is kinda low. When we reached the station then lafda happened. I tried to pay him with paytm and this madatchod (edi) ka bachha app (bch) chutiya (edi) ka pilla app got stucked. We were in a awkward situation. We both had a trust some stranger. If i paid him cash and my account got cut as well then fuck man. But if my paytm didn't work and i go away he would be fucked as well. Such an awkward situation. I didn't have much cash either. We tried to make truce. I tried to reassure him that if it didn't work i would pay him. But how can he trust a stranger like me. In the end he went away with an upset face. He gave me his number to call if payment didnt work. But after 15 minutes we got the notification and stuff. I gave him more than the fare but i feel bad about that day. He was a nice guy. I should have paid 350...

I have seen these (edi) aunties too, usually around stadiums and stations.
I saw them go to some aunty and give her the emblem. And then said "ab ham dost ho gaye, aap kuchh donation karoge?" And the aunty offered 30 rupees. The (auto-excised) aunty got angry and started making gaali dene wala chehra. The other aunty removed the pin and gave it, while saying, "achhe khaase dupatte me chhed kar diya"
I have also seen some sardaarji standing with box saying, "Please donate for cancer patients"
