the PDCAAS score for soy isolate is, 1.0, same as eggs and milk, meaning it’s considered a high-quality protein by WHO standards. The only amino acid it’s a bit lower in is methionine, which you cover easily just by eating grains or nuts.

>To get "complete nutrition" on a vegetarian diet, you’d need to combine soy chunks with B12-fortified foods (or supplements), plus sources of omega-3s, iron, and zinc.

Grains, nuts, omega pills, and 15 different kinds of ghas phoos and deficiency pills.

Yup I am here again.

I answered in the last thread with as much honesty and as much factually correct data as I could.

Same I do here again, feel free to ask me anything about anything.

>Do soya chunks contain more protein than chicken breast?

Yes*.

*Having more protein, which is a buzzword for most bhacucks here, doesn't mean shit. EAA & for some CEAA matters. I will list the numbers below, please read on.

>Does your body absorb more "protein" from soya chunks compared to chicken?

I'll answer this in the very end.

>Which is cheaper and what's the most useful protein source per rupee

We'll figure out by the end of my posts.

Milk products

Here's EAA and CEAA profiles for Milk products (they are evaluated at raw or dry basis)

Cystine is not EAA so ignore that.

Chicken

IFCT2017 doesn't contain EAA tables for chickens, I don't know why. I will file an RTI tomorrow and report back. I found an article on ncbi that has the EAA table. The chicken used for the test was a Broiler(Cobb Broiler). Please visit the link for EAA table of chicken and obtain a rough estimate. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5686320/table/t004/

Picrel is both EAA and CEAA of various poultry products from IFCT2017.

I will simplify in the end. All in all after careful observation you will realize that the differences in EAA and CEAA from either sources are very minimal to practically negligible. Filerel is IFCT2017 by NIN. Please study whichever food you're consuming on daily basis and plan your diet accordingly.

Visit the ICMR-NIN website you'll find many useful information about nutrition like https://www.nutritionatlasindia.in/rdaAndEar

Personally the only soya product one should should use is Soya Isolate. I do not consume or recommend anything other than that. Efforts are underway to GM soya plants only then I'd consider eating them.

>>228240

Misinformation and I say that as Vegan Chad.

>>228249

Misinformation again. Neither soybean nor soyachunks are incomplete source of AA also ignorantly called proteins.

>>228252

Nobody eats a single food item for rest of his life. I don't know why people don't take that for granted and it needs to be explained again and again like defeatist.

>>228259

Misinformation. B12 aka cobalmin is synthesized by algae and archaea only and only by them excluding synthesis by Biotech chads. Neither animals nor plants are capable of making B12(cobalmin). Same story with Omega-3 PUFA family. Everyone whether vegan or non-vegan should get supplements of them since regardless of your diet, you're highly likely to be deficient in many water and fat soluble vitamins.

I will do the price analysis tomorrow. Regardless of what I do everybody knows vegan diet although requires a variety is cheapest compared to all sorts of diet. But still I won't let my bias takeover; will share the maths tomorrow. If anyone else does it before me, I'll simply crosscheck.

My fav foods are usually usual legumes and seeds cause all of them are really high in different EAAs. Mix them and you have a overwhelmingly chaddest amount of EAA.

Bioavailability is low on plant proteins. Red meat provides the most complete protein profile.

You can make your own tofu. Personally I would recommend you buy protein powders only soy isolate if you want use soya products. Otherwise check the IFCT2017 from my post above and take a look at AA profile section, you can then decide which food item you'll like to incorporate in your diet to meet your RDA.

Misinformation. Nobody cares about foods having complete protein profile. Grow up neanderthal, we invented something called cooking and eating different foods in one sitting. Like a veg thali, chicken+rice+raita+aloo bhaji+salad, roti+chana masala+paneer masala and what not.

Don't know about you but the complete protein profile meme doesn't apply to us sapiens maybe it does for you neanderthals who are too broke to afford food 3 times a day even.

Sure you can eat all that carbslop to get a fraction of the nutrient that you get from a slab of lamb or steak or you can just eat meat.
