I won't say they have done nothing. Trains are more regular, we have phased out diesel engines for full electrification, and stations are being renovated. We don't have the infra to support a proper HSR so the speed remain more or less the same.

Bladeee all we needed and all we could afford were normal trains with lots of sleeper class and AC tier 3 with 1 dibba for ac 1 for richie richfags. Get rid of the general dibba and make everyone pay like bladee. They would get profitable and make more trains.
For locals, take those engines and put it for more long distance trainwas. Uje Tata bus or trucks and fit them as trains like srilanka has done. make them more frequent and cheaper to operate and once again rape anyone kabzamaaxing or trying to go without a ticket.
when you can achieve this, operating some hifi fansy mansy trains would be viable as people won't throw stones at them no more but nyooooooooooooooooooooooo. let us waste paisa on PR now. bladeee what was the need for all those EVS pajeet reforms when bladee all you need to care about is profit. bladeee pajeetian railways should focus on rail tracks and let pvt companies operate rail stations and rail gaddis on a lease or sum sheit like the roadways operate
