Because faustian spirit was a unique sentiment that was borne during the industrialization. Sky was no longer considered the limit. Nobody thought we needed any guardrails because machine go vroom vroom and do the work that took decades to do.
We now have a better understanding of the world and limits of our own existence. So not even Western Europeans care about the Faustian spirit.

Bcz thats the way things are. Period. Look at pajeets around you. Most are unambitious, lazy and risk averse. They just want a jaab that offers stability along with a typical family life. They have no hobbies, no interests, no passions, no curiosity. They only enjoy worshipping others like gods, godmen, cricket, celebs, politicians or their own parents.
