Macs in general have nice hardware but their software sucks and they are over priced, that model specifically only has 8GB RAM.
macs being developer laptops is one of the biggest meme ever, its a locked down system, unless you are develop apps for apple platform you don't need them.

however the worst part is you can't create more than 3 or 4 icloud accounts with your laptop, after that that feature gets locked, you feel humiliated tbh, the liquid ass thing was the last straw for me, after that I sold it, resale value is good, I sold mine for 50,000

I find my M3 MB AIR to be very suitable for normal everyday usage, I do edit videos using da Vinci resolve sometimes though, works like a charm. I also haven't faced any software limitations either, probably because I use an iPhone alongside with it.
