Do southie abbos understand that hindi is a common link language and NOT the original language of North? When they go outside their state they speak Hindi not Marathi or Gujarati.
There are many lungis selling dosa here in Gujarat who speak Hindi, not Gujarati or Kathiyawadi or Kutchi. What would happen if we Gujaratis start going around assaulting southies for speaking Hindi and not the local language?
If people in Varanasi start assaulting people for speaking southies in Varanasi for speaking Hindi and not Bhojpuri. What would happen then?
