One of my relatives is in the army (officer). He keeps saying that there's too much pajeetey and politics. The situation becomes worse above lt.col rank because after that, it's performance based promotion not time based. The poolitics the officers above brigadier rank are playing is the worst. Especially when it comes to defence equipment aquisition. The less said, the better. Don't want to get too anti-nasnul.

Children of military officers are more often than not insufferable. They tend to eat nice food from canteens (good for them) but treat non defence kids with a sense of contempt. Idk why they feel superior just because their dad is in the military. In my experience, Navy kids are the best. Airforce kids are satans spawn. Army kids are meh.
