As many are criticising the infrastructure pictel is Salt Lake Stadium, largest football stadium in india, built in 1984 from govt, tata, birla etc funds and chanda from people. My father told me how they would visit bus/train stations asking money to build a grand stadium for football

I made this post as Gujju anon was insulting our infrastructure when we made this grand stadium in 1984 by public donations out of pure footballing passion, when india was piss poor. And it still remains india's largest football stadium
