Lol peasantry often continued to live as usual. No hate for rajasthani rajputs, they too just wanted to survive like anyone else but in the event they did not submit and were destroyed by mughals, just the ruling class would have changed, the masses would continue to go about daily business, and get this idea out of your head that mughals were some bogeyman straight out of some children's horror book. They didnt have numbers to undertake such a massive islamization project. They had come here to rule. Yes they did destroy temples during wars, curtailed religious freedom and incentivized conversion like any islamic state would but their primary focus was on collecting taxes and ruling india as their giany fief. Them going around door to door to convert or kill is just fantasy. It was simply impossible logistically. Punjab and kashmir islamized simply bcz they were ruled for longer as those regions fell first to incoming invaders.
