Why are Bengalis so superior in fine arts? They mog everyone in literature and film. It's not even close. And secondly, why did they decline so badly? Was it the commies or was it the kanglus? If Bengal had developed properly to its full potential, indias GDP would be atleast 350 billion dollars higher than it is today. Sad to see the state of Bengal today.

Which parallel universe are you living in? Bengal is going full speed in reverse gear. It's turning shittier day by day. I visited Calcutta in 2016. Haven't been to such a grim looking city ever again in India. Most Bengalis i Know today are very lazy.
