Post 2014 Indian government has taken significant steps so that we aren't solely dependent on Service sector for gdp growth.
PLIs, Make in India, support to MSMEs, reforms in Agriculture and processing sectors and more such steps have been taken but they are still very new and not even decade old so it will take some time show its results on macro level.

It only shows that service is still going strong while we are investing in manufacturing. At the end we are exporting to USA so yes there's dependency.
Also if we are exporting service it can also be termed as America having depending on India, service export is not as simple as 'call center' most of the India doesn't do that those are exported to SEA countries.
