These blaady jewpair shops yaar everything they put in my laptop has stopped working within 12 months. I fixed the laptop myself today or they would exort a gazillion from me for that too. I have been using laptop without a battery for the past 6 months because of this crap

Don't buy any random bhangi laptop lodu, the only good laptops are Dell Latitudes and Precisions or whatever is the equivalent in their new naming schemes. For HP their elite and zbooks and ofc thinkpads from Lenovo.

As for OP I want to tell, laptops are meant to be used while on charging, always. The battery is only for very emergency backup, think of it as UPS.
Laptops have battery cycle (most have about 1000), which means it can only take 1000 charging and discharging sessions, after which it's dead
