theres one professor inviting me to be a part of their research group. i thot it would involve real work but it turns out as an undergraduate student they have no use for you, you get paid to just stand around in the lab and look awkward while everyone else does their work. maybe clean some instruments and recalibrate them. The pay is $17/hr.
As for other jobs, I'll have to search em up. Definitely don't want to be tech support

my family has taken a huge loan to send me here yaar. against my wishes that too. I need to earn money so I can eat, by the time my classes end my hostel mess is already closed and I don't have enough $ to instantly order whatever I want. I mean I do have it but paying fat tips for every single thing here all adds up pretty fast

i want to take the job because it seems like free money but it is very time-intensive, 5 hours a day from Tue-Fri. I would have to drop one class at the very least, but the trade-off would be huge: taking it next semester would limit me from taking higher-level courses that it is a pre-requisite for so I literally have to choose between having disposable income and graduating early

US is a strict country for international students sirs. Can't work shitty offcampus jobs like these on a student visa - only on-campus is allowed (after first year you can do off campus stuff like internships or summer jobs during holidays as well)
