... among other things. I realized a while back that this has been going on since COVID. They want me to do everything and this simply keeps overwhelming me and prevents me from taking any dedicated effort towards one thing. They want it all. This is what happens when you have no idea what you want to personally do and let others live their life through you.

My parents are the same, my dad always keeps bullshitting about plan A, plan B stuff. He wanted me to get both a government and a private job, and prepare for both of em to be safe. And now that I have a private job he's bugging me to get a govt job. I just feel so burnt out ffs.
Just let me live for a moment. I don't wanna run after things constantly. Cuz of all this i don't see any meaning in life.
Even if i grind my ass of and get a govt job I'm pretty sure that they'll push me towards another thing and present a false dichotomy to me to get me to do their bidding

I've got gate on 14th and I've studied nothing, the anxiety is just killing me. Yet i still don't feel like studying for it. Starting shit which is important feels too hard for me if i don't feel like doing it. A terrible mental block

This is so fucking true. Maybe this is why I never liked meme exams, i always hated them, even the idea of them made me sick. Heck even dsa grinding is better than this. There's artificial sense of urgency created in my brain but just that doesn't seem enough to get that initial momentum.

If someone's getting married that early then it's over, it never even began. They'll never be able to break out of this loop of responsibilities. You're quite lucky in this regard

Only if we were in some place where you get neetbux or will get a decent enough comfy wagie job... Neeting is just not possible in india unless your parents are rich and don't mind keeping you. But still in most cases they won't. Even if you live with em they'll never leave an opportunity to daily nag about it. And i fucking hate nagging, makes me so repulsed that I voluntarily don't do the thing they nag about just to piss em off
