It's nice that you guys have a dedicated workspace. I actually don't.
I tried to use a 2 x 2 coffee table as a makeshift workspace in the bedroom and a dining table chair that I am sitting in right now. I bought a 200 rupees craptop stand to place my laptop on it and then use a wired keyboard because the craptop stand makes it hard to reach out and type. My neck hurts looking down to read the screen and my back hurts from having to arch my way towards to reach the keyboard.
For all this, my mom just blasted me and told me that it is a bed room and not a study room and I am filling the room with all the shit and making the place cramped. I don't even have a small corner to sit and work on myself to get a job in what is supposed to be my home.
I don't have a place where I can actually do anything to get a job. It's quite noisy outside and if nothing is going on the loud TV that they're all watching they will be whining and complaining about me and my joblessness, or someone else that made them upset the previous day. I try to wear a cheap headphones and play hairdryer music but it makes me dizzy if I listen for it too long.
It's hell.
