Has anyone here played Pax Historia? Its a YC-backed alternate history sandbox game. I tried playing it on hard mode and conquered all of pakistan after diplomatically alienating it from all sides, decapitating their nuclear command and installing a puppet regime.
Logged in today to see that the puppet regime gifted us Gilgit and changed the country's name to Indus Republic

I've played with RAJ on max difficulty with multiple realism mods enabled. You can easily speedrun through SEA and ME, help Japan deal with China, and then invade the SU with the Germans, which gets stalled all the time, because the 1 overpowered heavy tank division I rely on can't advance in poo supply.

Its good if you play the hard modes. There's a lot of realism. You have to make long term plans and operate like an actual country. Can't just do whatever you want.
For example, I tried simulating real life events like abrogating IWT, removing article 370 and this is how China responded. Pakistan called it an act of war, carried out strikes and was sanctioned.

I see it uses AI, that sounds pretty cool when you want to somewhat simulate with a large number of possibilities.

If we were to really do something like that their post plausible action would be on the diplomatic front by trying to use its puppet master US to arm-twist India. Military action is highly unlikely.

Yes you can. Its AI so it doesn't give you an inventory or control options for your regiments, etc. It all depends on how detailed, advanced, and tactical you can get. The complexity of army planning, defense procurement, movements etc all depends on you. You will have to specifically mention what you want just like you would irl.

Yes, but as I said the game doesn't spoonfeed you. You will have to think for yourself. It doesn't give you a preset of options. If you aren't planning well you face the consequences.

I mean, its a game at the end of the day. Also I made it look easy with that sentence. It was more about them not having enough uranium reserves etc.
