I was posting it for humour anon, odachi has its saya, why shove it up your bum bum instead? Yes they mostly relied on archer and in close combat which ideally never happened they will rely on naginata. Karana was limited for the majority of personal duels, Odachi were only relevant as anti horse riding units, making them extremely impractical.
