as for me, these thoughts had come naturally to me. i harmed myself on my own at the age of 4, just enough so as to gain sympathy of my parents time to time. i lied to my parents everytime i felt the need to, without any guilt. all of those school teachers teaching muh honesty, humility sounded crap to me ever since i heard them for the first time. reading prince for the first time felt like an elder me is writing a letter to his junior self. no one has been able to uncover my mask except myself with my consent. i can connect with any person in the room with ease, irregardless of their gender, age, religion or whatever casté bs you all chimp out on. the only cases i have failed are when the person was a dark empath just like me. in a group, i can isolate anyone from others without the knowledge of both the isolaters and the victim.

If you are alluding to Dostoevsky’s worst novels, then, indeed, I dislike intensely The Brothers Karamazov and the ghastly Crime and Punishment rigamarole. No, I do not object to soul-searching and self-revelation, but in those books the soul, and the sins, and the sentimentality, and the journalese, hardly warrant the tedious and muddled search. Dostoyevsky’s lack of taste, his monotonous dealings with persons suffering with pre-Freudian complexes, the way he has of wallowing in the tragic misadventures of human dignity – all this is difficult to admire. I do not like this trick his characters have of ”sinning their way to Jesus” or, as a Russian author, Ivan Bunin, put it more bluntly, ”spilling Jesus all over the place." Crime and Punishment’s plot did not seem as incredibly banal in 1866 when the book was written as it does now when noble prostitutes are apt to be received a little cynically by experienced readers. Dostoyevsky never really got over the influence which the European mystery novel and the sentimental novel made upon him. The sentimental influence implied that kind of conflict he liked—placing virtuous people in pathetic situations and then extracting from these situations the last ounce of pathos. Non-Russian readers do not realize two things: that not all Russians love Dostoevsky as much as Americans do, and that most of those Russians who do, venerate him as a mystic and not as an artist. He was a prophet, a claptrap journalist and a slapdash comedian. I admit that some of his scenes, some of his tremendous farcical rows are extraordinarily amusing. But his sensitive murderers and soulful prostitutes are not to be endured for one moment—by this reader anyway. Dostoyevsky seems to have been chosen by the destiny of Russian letters to become Russia’s greatest playwright, but he took the wrong turning and wrote novels

not sure what led you onto that conclusion. i very clearly care about morality. mind you, not in the sense the society frames them. most of my morals are attuned to my own realizations. i will not claim they are my own. many are inspired my other people, by the society itself, for that matter. the key point is to attune them to my own will. i never allow any other being enforce their morals on me. the only exception to this being my parents. they have sacrificed a lot for me and have been through a lot just for my sake. i believe that i need to take care of them. this is one of those morals on which i am in agreement with the society. but again, this doesnt apply to all. i do not preach that everyone is obliged to this. i consider it MY duty because my parents did a lot for ME.

totally agree. but i dont consider myself skilled enough to produce such posts regularly. my major hindrance being the topic of my posts. all of them would be my interests and comfort zones. this is something i am trying to accomplish lately. to speak and write confidently on topics which i do not have a TON of knowledge on. i refrain from doing it as of now.
