Just so you understand, Tribals were never numerous enough to have an impact on history.
Even nowadays , with modern technology and after millions invested into them, they are a minority which is irrelevant.
Keeping up,increasingand sustaining a high population to matter isn't something Tribals in India ever managed to do (not even now).
You can check out Sentinel island as well,which is population capped at around 300 people.
