I'm a skinnycel who has never seen the insides of a gym in my life.

After much contemplation, I have finally decided to gymmax and work on my body.

But the problem is, I have no idea how gyms work, and no friends to ask about it.

Can I just walk in and join one?

How do I decide which gym to join?

What do I do after that, will there be a chad inside who tells me which weights to lift? Or should I figure it out myself?

Don't fall for the gymceling meme. Even home workout with appropriate equipments will help you give a decent built. Instead of getting a gym membership, try going to a good diet coach. It'll help you a lot.

Go to any gym ,and join

Search on reddit for 5 day pplxpp split, note all exercuses down ,watch youtube shorts for correct form and perform them correctly

Also progressively overload every week and for exercises like bench and squat,ask any guy to spot

Basically yes. Har gym me ek trainer milta hai batane ko. Warna kisi bhi bande se puchliyo woh exercise bata dega. Lekin kuch truaner kuch zyada exercise batane lagte hai tu mat kariyo. Just do 4 exercise per muscle group

2 mahine weight pe sir mat mariyo. During the first 2 month you will only going to discover your true strength. Then the reall training starts.

Also more than anything else, gym isn't a short term treatment. Ouri lifestyle alag ho jati hai

Learn from YouTube the proper technique for each exercise

Start practicing the proper technique starting with light weights

Ask general trainers if you are stuck
