you have to be quiet and observable in the first meeting.
then in next meet, after analysing their behaviourals, actions, thoughts/mindset(if they tell you), you act accordingly to them

Its mostly looks ,your physique, the way you dress and mannerism, the way you walk , speak prnnciation ,if you use filler words in your conversation etc
And be observant,mirror their actions show interest or empathy depending on situation and try to convey those through eyes or expressions
