when I was stoodying in Kota, there was this Jat bhaiya in our hostel, one day me and my friend (both bamans) were talking to the mess cook (he was a baman too), then that bhaiya came out of nowhere and said, pandato ki panchayat chal rahi hai, then the cook unkill said, aap bhi to pandit ho beta (he mistook him for being one), to which he replied, nahi unkill mai to Jat hu, in a very proud tone.
Jats are based in this sense that they generally don't have the victim mindset.

Your first mistake is assuming cast system is just based on superiority. It isnt. Your second mistake is assuming indian society is only based on varna hierarchy and that good old jati tribalism doesnt exist. It exists. Yes brahmins are scripturally ranked higher and are respected by all hindus due to being the priestly cast but in reality they existed in symbiotic relationship with their patrons. They served their patrons who were other UCs.

Thats just retarded theory of irfan habib. There is no evidence. Jats arent even some tribe given their massive population (25% of pop. in punjab and HR). They are native farmers of punjab haryana(have different clans in different states). Their identity formed as a result of farmers coalescing into one unit.
