That makes sense. I always wondered how borders of kurdistan arent in line with historical kingdoms in the region.
Reminds me of how Uyghurs assisted Han in genociding mongols during dzungarian genocide and now claim the land as some imagined east turkestan and lie about alleged han settlement when in reality the region had the same demographic composition even during Qing era.
