I mean you want to work in Hindi movies and yet not know Hindi. I have seen many videos in the past as well where older generation actors tell their kids to learn Hindi which I find really surprising. Don’t see this happening anywhere else in local mediums like Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam.

In a recent incident in Kolkata, a non Bengali girl was questioning an aunty about why she didn't know Hindi. It's really not the aunty's responsibility to learn Hindi, especially since she's in West Bengal.
The girl should've been more polite, considering she doesn't understand Bengali herself.
