What genre of music do you all listen to? I personally like listening to heavy metal and alternative rock.

Songs from some of their compilations and early few albums, I very much like the psychotic edge songs from this era have.

Also their John Peel and Jenson sessions are fucking great, you should try them.

Gave Coltrane's "A Love Supreme" a listen, a jarring album but when you don't expect anything pleasant , the album becomes transcedental. I am not versed in theory to comment on its technicality but it does sound and feel excellent.

an old Tamil song

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fhgpf2ikOWY[embed]

there is also a Hindi version for narthies i think

i wish i was born 30 years ago yaar, i could have experienced growing up in the 1990s...our parents don't know just how lucky they were

To be able to experience growing up in a younger, cleaner India with no Internet or pollution. Where 2 guys could be friends with the type of bond not even God could break. Nobody would judge them for doing weird shit together or whatever. Where everyone was moving and thinking forward into the future with unrestricted optimism and not looking back on our dark past.

What happened to us? Where did it all go wrong? Why?

nice song i found. yaar why are all mainstream modern songs so shit? I have to find some niche indie band with 302 views on Youtube with no information but a Bandcamp page just to listen to good music in 2025

boomers say that today's music is shit and hipsters revolt against this by saying no.

I am sure there are artists furthering music somewhere but I have yet to listen to them.

I remember from the failed /prog/ thread anan, which album by TOTO do you like the most?

I like Jeff Porcaro's work as a session musician but haven't been able to get into TOTO(too poppy)

Anyone interested in making a bhach /mu/ wiki? We can centre it on Indian music (I've listened to a pretty large share of the Indian underground, you can contribute to that/contribute to other Indian music you've liked)

I don't live in the 90s, and that's how I live. You are a person, not a population.
