Life is so unpredictable, one of the reason i turn inward was because i loved people to the point that every suffering of them would hurt me - couldn't see it anymore so i shielded myself from all of the relations.
Overtime i returned back to my normal life...so do the sufferings of the world. Recently came to know one of the old people related to my previous job died.
Good man, build an empire from nothing and gone. Life bears cost, everyday - every moment. How much a man can take it before it's too much.
I don't like the concept of living for eternity, imagine having to endure so much suffering for so many years - wonder what it would do to the soul. 100s of years of suffering...
It's cyclic we know, every being goes through that so do we...yet it feels tragic. Life truly is just suffering.

I remember when I used to still believe in the good of every person.
Life seems very joyous and positive when you know as little as possible. You only assume the positive of things you are ignorant about.
Then as you grow up things slowly unravel, for most people it starts with their parents. You used to think of them as perfect people then you start to notice their flaws. Then you become aware of the ills and immorality of society. You slowly realized that you are just a number among many others. Some cope with religion or just pretend to ignore it, but there is a visible sadness in every person, most Indians carry a burden of resentment that they missed out on so many things in life purely because of societal/economic factors.

it is bad. it is the n!gger of all jaabs if you have kids at a later age cause by the time you could have hooked up your kids(they 18 or graduates), you have already retired and lost all "power"

ig that's also true desu, i still maintain it. one lesson for me while i grew and slightly became mature to reduce uneasiness was to have faith in the capability of the people.
it's important to have faith in others, of course you should be good judge of things and based on scenario weigh your options.

It's difficult to explain the feeling of opening bhach at late night when most of the activity has ceased.
It is like traversing through an village, while whole society is asleep. You can see light flickering through the houses...orangish hue.
It's pitch black otherwise...you pass through the woodlands, it's just moonlight filtering through the trees, occasional whisper. A bit chilly for some reason.
Witnessing the recent images was kinda very sovlful. A canvas...

One of the things that bug me about our people many other groups that they think to have a beautiful life it has to be snowie, mountains, grasslands which have always been a bit of highlight in the mainstream media.
That results in the inherent apathy and inferiority complex towards our own lives, our surroundings. I do not blame them - the way things are how can someone be inspired from it, love it - most won't. Most don't get inspired from the fact that maybe they can be the one who can bring out the change.
Few weeks back i was bored so i hopped onto youtube and opened a random recommended video about a small town in japan,
the most beautiful thing about japanese feels like how much care or love they have put in their surrounding, the culture of loving or caring about even the most miniscule things. To the point it may seem implicit for them but anyone who is alien it's remarkable. Something recently in a convo with motivanon he also experienced and talked about.
The biggest gift of japanese people to the world is probably this, their genuine love for surroundings for objects they interact with it. That's what it gives soul.
India our people sadly it feels like we are exact opposite, i do not think it's poverty to be honest. It's the constant state of ADHD in a way - we are always in hurry but somehow we are not going anywhere, i think naipaul said it. At some point it became our daily affairs.
Just steadily clean things up, leaving things behind. Make thing work - jugad but it may work or not. To the point any appreciation for those who do otherwise is minimum. Result is a society which feels broken, in shambles - somehow tethered by small group of people who are trying to keep it all together maybe.
It's not that we don't yearn or not love those but it's constant race b/w those ADHD minds and hyperfocused groups.
Coming back to the original point, yeah. This one thing about us constantly consumes me - sometimes it's conflict within me. To be better than just 'sufficient'.
It doesn't have to be complex machinery, as simple as a genuine effort in plant you maintain, a clay toy, a paper drawing, your own house and surrounding. A small park or area around your house or in your house itself.
If we slowly start taking care, putting genuine love in the smallest thing in our surroundings or tasks things can change. To not hate what we have, even if it's bad, to work to resolve it - improve it slowly over time until you have the calmness of it. To not race from one place to another constantly - to rest and introspect and then move.
The result of failure to do so is what we see extreme kanging, othering and hate on others. We love to hate on those who do not speak our tongue but we have little to show for what we read in our literature or own literature, except few who did it about whom 99% kang.
We hate on others group of people of our village, our families instead of taking ownership and working - i understand that resources are limited but our society truly is broken to the point we do not understand how we can co-operate to achieve better results.
The constant state of looking down upon others who maybe poorer than you, socially lower than you creates this apathetic environment. It's saddening but it reflects back in everything we do - our shabby cities, our politics our behaviour to the point it's visible everywhere.
We have gone so inwards that there's constant state of nothing but dragging down, crab mentality - petty fights. It's not like there are not those who do not understand this, they are working and adding their set of efforts which is why we are afloat but it's an uphill battle.
Where do we begin.

yeah there's lot to add at things which bug me tbh.
long ago i kinda tried to summarize about what we had or could...tldr; it was a hopium that at the most individual level we can try our best - help out those whom we can, etc. etc.
if we reach critical mass society will transform - i don't think we need 100% participation that bad apples will be there but enough good and probably something for better can be achieved. desu.

generational trauma anon, though I'd say the fraternité between people is unmatched unironically, we oughta be a lot for violent and dysfunctional for our institutions and level of development. I'm still a little whitepilled and hopeful for the future, but I'm not sure I see myself in it.

trvke. Democracy is the strongest pill against change thoughbeit. The chinese required mao to pull themselves out of a century of humiliation. That's rather difficult here.
