>>3900 check the scores on old anime on sites like mal & anilist, they're all lower. why? because the whole rating system is dogshit. if it actually worked the way it should, new shows would be sitting at like a 5 and the classics would be at near 10s. they even gave fire punch with a 7-esque rating, when it's easily a 9+ and one of the best manga ever made. anyway, i don't really bother with number ratings anymore, so this setup is way easier for me to keep track of things i've consumed. for movies i just use letterboxd and log it with either heart or no heart. i've also been on serializd the last few years for tv/shows/dramas/tokusatsu, and it's similar to letterboxd in every way. backloggd for vidya is solid too with the same heart system. but for animu, manga/ln, vn, and books, i stick to my own setup

>>3906 i started around in 1st yr of btech so like 2 yrs ago, consumed shonen mostly some slice of life, some seinens, now into anything that fits mood, romcom, slice of life, dont like sci-fi stuff much, didnt like evangelion but liked cowboy bebop, samurai champloo, watching high school rumble now, on its season 2, 6 episodes left now. the only reason it shows 3400 episodes is because i added one-piece in it but i dropped it around 1200 when hiatus happened.
