You just look for another job, after a month or two of break OP. Remember the basic rules of Job switching, go 10K higher than your prior job, if you were earling 45k, ask for a meagre 55k, or better, 60k a month, since everyone knows that HR are bargaining wali randi.

Notice period is time you need to serve after you put the resignation. It varies for each company, it is usually 2 weeks. But lundia me 2 mahine kam karwate hai, the MNC i used to work before this still payed me salary for those two months, and I didn't even bother working those 2 months.
Notice period is an employee at his strongest, if he is smart about it. If you already have an offer letter from other company, tell the current one, "notice period gaya company ki bua ke gand me" and just quit.
