holy fuck, i just watched prometheus by ridley scott and i genuinely think that movie might be true. what if we were actually made by some alien creators who had insane tech and bio knowledge, and they just saw us as some experiment, and now they're pissed or disappointed in us. they might actually come back and wipe us out like it's nothing. scary part is if beings like that exist we're completely defenseless, and no amount of nukes or prayers will stop them. i think this might be the real horror behind human origins, not some manmade religion or god but creators who regret us

yaar trvth is sci fi as a genre is 70s coded, right after the US Moon Mission, it was peak of human civilisation, if you read comics and magazines from that time they were thing of building moon bases and shit.
But none of that happened, scientific research stalled and became corrupt, real technological innovation got over shadowed by software addiction, combined with the general social degeneration since then, there is simply no one that optimistic anymore, as a result we only dystopic media instead in name of sci fi
