Pre and Mains is in favour of EWS. Interview panel are all UC and UC candidates look better phenotypically and have better education, better english speaking skills and better overall personality than OBC candidates so they cover the 7 mark gap easily in interview.

In exams like, JEE, NEET, GATE, CAT(only requires 3-5 months btw), you can easily secure 99th %ile with ease and most certainly you may find yourself landing in the 99.5+ %ile, but people 'fail' upsc. Something looks fishy af. I just checked the questions of csat this year and the supposedly diffuclt part of the paper involving quant looked like an avg CAT question. I've no clue about govt exams bhai. Part of the reason I'd made this thread was to gain some understanding on the nature of these exams as I'm shell shocked by shit such as subjectivity of the exam, the recent upsc prelims answer key fiasco, etc.. If you're looking for difficult math exams, you can look into those of TIFR, CMI, ISI, NBHM exam papers.
