And yes, stars back then used to look better. There was no plastic surgery retardation, and there was diversity in terms of faces and styles. It is all stale and sterile now, and Bollywood stars just try to look white these days.

Friendly reminder that Awaara, the blueprint for all modern Bollywood films, was an international phenomenon. Raj Kapoor got a hero's welcome in Russia due to it, and it was one of Mao's favorite films.
