I will say it again there is no term like UC or forward in any traditional literature, it is a classification invented by modern indian state, all castes (not varna but jatis) that do not get reservation are forward, the whole thing itself is pretty fluid given that until mandal, everyone aside from SC/STs was considered forward by the state, even the OBC classification does not necessarily mean shudra, because the term shudra is from vedic agricultural society, there is no list present from that time, however the state has itself classified certain jatis as OBC (Other Backward Classes), note that in Bihar Banias are in OBC list, meenas are ST in rajasthan but OBC in MP.
