The reaction of people varies significantly by caste. If a General caste girl gets raped then the whole local hindu organization gets active or sometimes even the local hindu thugs lynch/kill the muslim. Even the government resolves the situation more rapidly in UC cases.
In oBC cases, generally the cast resolves it by themselves or get the local administration involved.
In lower OBC and SC/ST cases, nobody gives a fuck in the starting until the matter gets somewhat big and then the local administration takes away the predator for a short time. Its mostly the LC cases that happen across the country for some reason.

In case of UCs mullah goes for weak-poor family girl and in that cases also half of the time he gets caught and people beat him, and if the case is serious he gets arrested
