Just got me thinking that if you ask underage NEETards(not one myself but been there) why they want to be doctors, more often than not 'respect' will be among the reasons listed. Never heard a whitoid give that as a reason. For them reasons can range from interest, money, inspiration but 'respect' isnt among them. Has anyone else observed the same.

white kids:
>parents love and appreciate them
>make them feel confident
>care about their hobbies and aspirations
>assure them that if they do fail their parents will always be there for them
pajeet kids:
>bachpan se dusre bachhon se comparison
>har galti pe berate karna
>"hobbies se paisa nahi milega!!!"
>fear of shame if fails
>baap didn't invest or buy assets, if he retires the family is starving
>uska bhi darr
and you wonder why "aspiration" means different things in america and india...

This is absolutely not true lmao. Euro parents don't compare their kids with others but they also don't pay much attention to them either. They miss school PTMs and don't help with homework, they are too busy overworking in jobs to take care of the kids, and they kick their kids out of the house when they turn 17-18. Many of my friends can remember being raised in daycares instead of home, never breastfed, and having to learn how to cook food for themselves as young as 10-12.
They do get substantial pocket money every week though, it gives them enough to live nice
